Year End Event
2015-16 Jr.FLL Season - We Welcome Teams;
'Lego Science Six'; Alan - Arav - Evie - Amanda - Kate -Parker
'Ultimate Builders'; Alexander - Alan - Tanav- Will - Mordecai - Chloe
'Spies'; Preston - Kyle - Alexandria - Samuel - Collin - Viviana - Jack
'Beast Crushers' ; London - Reid - Gabriel - Ian - Vincent - Andy
'Williams Team'; Carter - Grant - Tyler - Davis - Grayson
A Jr.FLL Event provides an opportunity for teams to showcase their accomplishments, share projects with other teams and to learn from each other. It's not a true tournament or competition as there is no 1st, 2nd, 3rd place - every participant receives an award and recognition of their hard work and creativity. We DO have 'Special Awards' to recognize AMAZING results though.
We have four amazing Engineers from Schilling Robotics who volunteer their time each year to be our Reviewers (Lego Overlords); Steve Barrow, Jessica Montoya, Michael Payne and Amber Hollis. These Lego Overlords meet with each team for about 10 minutes and ask questions, offer suggestions, and give kudos give high 5's. Afterward we hand out trophies, 'Special Team Awards", and thank our sponsors.
Parents and siblings are welcome to attend but must be quiet so everyone can hear the team members speak during the Reviewer Q&A time. We will try to scrounge up a microphone and an amplifier to help with this. Coaches are asked to bring the 'Show Me' poster and 'Build Solution' 15 minutes early and help set up before the others arrive. Ditto PLEASE help clean up afterwards!
