Jr.FLL
What is Junior First Lego League (Jr.FLL)?
(I will NOT be involved with Junior league this year!)
Team 'SPIES' with our reviewers (Lego Overlords)
Designed to build an interest in science and engineering in children K-3rd grade, 6-9 years,Team members must not be older than 9 as of January 1 of the year the Challenge is released. Jr.FLL is a hands-on program that directs young children's curiosity toward discovering the possibilities of improving the world around them. This program features a real-world challenge to be solved by research, critical thinking and imagination.
Each yearly Challenge has two parts, the LEGO Model and the Show Me Poster. Working in teams of two to six, the students use Legos to build machines and Lego Robotics motors, sensors, and software to program their robotic elements.
The culmination of the hard work is participation in a Jr.FLL event. Volunteer Reviewers interview the teams to learn about their LEGO Model and Show Me poster. All teams are celebrated and leave with a trophy. To learn more visit usfirst.org/jrfll or view their VIDEO LINK (click!)
